There have definitely been abhorrent cases of a white woman calling the police when they otherwise shouldn’t have, often putting someone’s lives at risk but is it fair to refer to those horrible people as “Karens”? When I hear the term “Karen”, it’s USUALLY used to refer to ANY white woman the speaker doesn’t like

What was been said may not have been appropriate for that forum and the feedback may have been handled poorly, but there is absolutely no doubt that “Karen” is used in derogatory fashion.

I mean, are any of those problems unique to EV’s? GM having crappy liftgate/tailgate handles is a punchline that predates this car by over a decade. It’s more damning for GM than it is a reason to forgive Tesla for similar issues. They still have the valid excuse of only doing this for like 15 years.

I have never seen anyone claim that manufacturing any vehicle was easy. It’s one of the most complex things we do manufacture.

I love that we are now in an era where a 3-4 ton SUV doing 0-60 in 9 seconds is considered notably slow.

I guess the question is whether or not fans of Captain Boomerang and King Shark outnumber fans of shooters. It seems like Rocksteady just wanted to make a co-op loot shooter and ended up using the Suicide Squad IP because WB wouldn’t greenlight a new IP.

Nissan Leaf’s don’t have a combustion engine to idle.

My big beef with subscriptions is a manufacturer can basically choose at any time to stop supporting it. You could have a ten year old car and should they decide to turn off the service managing your subscriptions those features are now dead. The older the car comes the more likely it will happen.

Whhyyyyy would people not want their back doors to open at the push of a button?

Yeah, but it’s not a minivan, because soccer moms drive minivans. You are a RUGGED INDIVIDUAL who drives SUVs and have YETI mug collection including YETI dog bowl

Being subjected to a review process when you do something like pour hot coffee on another individual isn’t exactly some great unknown, low probability event.

It can’t be emphasized enough that Meyer died shortly after facing punishment for retaliating against a student who allegedly raped a minor on her team.

The whole thing is terrible, top to bottom, but SOMEONE needs to point out that getting a letter of potential discipline should NOT be answered with thoughts of suicide. I went to a top flight school like Stanford, and lived with D1 athletes that were all Americans, NFL/NBA players, knew a few Olympians, and I

There’s no need for the ‘despite’ there. He’s not using alcoholism as a shield or as an excuse but as an explanation. He’s still taking the blame and the consequences. Hopefully he really will take the next steps in seeking help.

Kylie, you suck. This has nothing to do with Billie Eilish or her boyfriend. Could you please grow the hell up already.

There are still a RIDICULOUS number of tech jobs out there. They may not be for “the big dogs,” but for example, my company (in Atlanta, GA) has been trying to hire new web developers for like the past six months, and for extremely generous salaries. We’ve not been able to find anyone because there’s so much demand.

Same. When the article was like “sometimes it just feels like DLC for the first game” I was like, YES! THATS WHAT I WANT!

Counterpoint: do these actually hurt anyone? I see rolling coal below and obviously sideshows above, but I don’t really see any issue with people making their cars the way they like them. This is ONLY pertaining to the modifications, not what an owner does after the car is modified (drag race, donuts in an

Thank you. Women like Stroh being allowed to use the language of the abused to weasel out of their own poor decisions has been going on for too long now post-Me Too and all it is doing is trivializing real abuse and causing people to roll their eyes when a real testimonial is given. Enough.

As if married men never manipulate women into having affairs.
