I used to drive to Indy from Ohio frequently for business and had a chance to mingle with many locals getting gas, eating at restaurants, etc. The number of idiots per capita is staggering. My workmates and I thought the state license plate slogan should be Indiana “The Stupid State.”

i went to the 500 in 2010 and was shocked by what i encountered. i was overwhelmed with the amount of hillbillies and rednecks. indy car racing had always seemed closer to F1 than nascar to me so seeing the white trash woodstock that was taking place was a surprise to say the least.
