Good, I say. I've felt for a long time that we, as a society, are too quick to condemn and distance ourselves from people with pedophile inclinations. They can't help the sexual wiring of their brains any more than the rest of us. How horrifying must it be to realize you have this aspect of yourself that is

You might want to rethink that phrasing.

I consider myself reasonably progressive, but I don't really have a problem here. The books have taken on a life of their own and the TV series is big business, but in the end this is just one human being writing down the story that is in his head. It would be nice if his writing was more inclusive, but I don't feel

I'd prefer he not write about gay sex than write awful gay sex. Maybe he just doesn't know how to write about it. Books are by an author, not a committee where someone who is able to write a gay sex scene takes that chapter. I barely remember (and I grant that may just be my faulty memory) the sex from the books

I've read gay sex (and just sex in general) written by people who have never had it and...eeeehhhh. Not to say that straight people or virgins can't write sex well, but there are some cases where it veers into "it feels like...bags of sand" territory. I'd rather he not try to put something in that he can't write well.

On a totally unrelated topic, Barack is how you spell peach in Hungarian and my family still living there can't get over how cute it is.

What exactly is the target audience? Women? Sorry but, since my four inches of fatal fury is what is invading a vagina that makes me part of the target audience too.

Sure, they're dangerous morons who deal drugs, kill each other and terrorize their communities - but we can't have them being lampooned!

Yes, I much prefer stuff like this which ridicules gang culture to media that glamorizes it.

I can understand not wanting people to make fun of "latinos" as a whole, but to make fun of gang culture doesn't seem offensive at all, whether it's specifically latino or not. Gang culture is lame and deserves to be made fun of

It doesn't look like they're all white, so my white guilt is confused as to how outraged I should be.

I think running is just the most immediately accessible to most. Running, you can grab a pair of running shoes and go run. Swimming, you need water (pool, ocean, lake, whatever), to cycle you'd need a bike, dancing you'd have to want to dance, possibly take a class, etc, and for team sports you'd need to find a sport

1. You assume you know his motivations for doing 30mph over the speed limit.

Did you use your third eye to determine this? When I was 16 I was in a Jeep on rural back road that was t-boned by a Camaro going 90. When I came to the driver was telling my friends he didn't think there was anyone else around. Two months in the hospital and a year in rehab getting 80% of my right arm and hand

I'm trying to figure out why you "had "to do 85 in a 55, in traffic, to pass a minivan on a multi-lane interstate. If you were doing 5mph more than the van at 55, you would have passed quite easily. If the van was doing 80mph, did you really "need" to pass it?

What the story doesn't say is how insane Virginia drivers are (Maryland drivers are even worse). People routinely drive 90 miles an hour and try to drive others off the road. I have personally been terrified while driving through what is known as the "mixing bowl" because of the insane speeds people where driving at

Other than being the daughter of a neoliberal war hawk and fair weather centrist, I can't think of a single think this young woman has done to deserve any form of media coverage.

I think the "he messaged me back" (about his husband) clarifies that everyone knows he's gay! lol. Husbands can be married to men now, YAY!

You know how sometimes it's sexier to see someone half dressed than it is to se them completely naked? This is not that.
