That photo. The heartstrings are TUGGED.

I haven’t always agreed with what this administration has done, but the whole of his presidency has been the best of my lifetime (imo). I will miss him and the whole First Family very much. How do we go from this to....that?

It has some really fantastic subreddits and some truly awful ones. The general boards are as much of a jumble of good and bad as any website. It pretty much depends on where you choose to spend your time on it as to what your experience will be.

My husband works for the federal government. He is definitely less than thrilled with the current situation. But, he does what he does because he loves his country and the work, not because of who is in the photo when he walks into the building.

This is true, but it’s also true that I un-ironically love Faithfully (and Sussudio for that matter).

That man is the creepiest motherfucker I have ever laid eyes upon. The documentary was wild. I guess that explains all his weird tics though!

A “white hoe”. Classy.

Margaret Cho is extremely vocal about issues facing Asian Americans and whitewashing of Asians in Hollywood. She has publicly been critical about the casting of Dr. Strange. They have a mutual friend that hooked them up at Tilda’s request, because she knew Cho had spoken out about these things. It’s not like she went

It’s not, but THIS character is essentially every stereotype you can think of under “wise Asian” and the nature of who the Ancient One is means you can’t really get rid of it. The mystical teacher that imparts the knowledge of the universe, magic, and some martial arts training isn’t very offensive coming from a

I love SWINTON. I also think she’s absolutely right about the Ancient One. Yes, whitewashing is bad, but that particular character would have come across as a horrible stereotype if left as an Asian person. Marvel was pretty dammed if you do, dammed if you don’t on that one. They did the best I think anyone could

By that token, Clinton’s campaign said Sanders was going to get rid of Medicare, Medicaid, and the ACA. There were all kinds of things from her side that were false or badly twisted “truth”. He ran no more of a negative campaign than she did, and he quite vocally defended her against nonsense criticisms during the

I am in a solidly blue state, but only because the bulk of the population lives in the blue counties. Go too far east or west of the Beltway in MD and it was Trump country. The yard signs were EVERYWHERE. During the primaries I saw quite a few Bernie stickers (and a variety of ones for bloody Carson and Cruz). There

Look, she might be miles better than Donald Trump, but she was still an extremely unpopular candidate. Yes, there all all kinds of reasons and think pieces written about why that is, but none of that changes the fact that people simply don’t like her. They didn’t want her in 2008, they didn’t really want her this

Greensleeves is my favorite piece of music, period, so I get to enjoy it as What Child is This at Christmas. My favorite modern song is probably Great Big Sled by The Killers. It’s so fun.

Yeah it was hard for me to get broken up over him. I was more of a Family Ties fan anyway. I do feel pretty awful for his son who had to witness it, though. That’s fucking traumatic.

What does it say about me that Fight Club is when he was hottest to me?

I think that’s pretty clearly referring to them, yes.

I’m still brokenhearted over this split. They genuinely were my favorite celebrity couple, the one that made total sense to me from the very beginning. It’s very sad to see it spiral into such a mess so quickly.

Oh man, so many people tagged me on facebook with that. Nope, not making you a $400 scratchy blanket that will mat up and look awful.

I just finished one for my SIL for xmas (per her request). I used bulky yarn, though, and it ended up way bigger than I had intended. So it’s a mermaid tail that will reach her armpits and keep her quite toasty haha. It’s also extremely heavy, since it took oh, about 8 skeins of Homespun yarn. Oops.
