Because his age is important to the story, whereas their appearances aren’t. The whole thing about his character is that he is preternaturally gifted, and completely unlike any other child his age. It is a point made over and over again in the books.

I think that’s because they keep using older photos of her in articles. I think she looks the right age, especially since Meg isn’t sophisticated at all. She’s only 13 when the books start.

The Democrats have never, EVER, had much moral high ground. The DNC is every bit as terrible and corrupt, just not always about the same things. I still prefer pandering to big money over pandering to big racists, but none of them are above board. No one in politics is.

I voted for Sanders in the primary. I’ve been 100% on the Sanders bandwagon since he declared, and even though I knew (or suspected) that this stuff was going on, it still hurts to have it confirmed. I’m voting for Hillary. I’m not angry about it- there’s frankly no other option- but I wish it had worked out…

I’ve never had a delay in Prime shipping, but my family in the St Louis area almost never gets anything within the 2 business day time frame. My mom was on the verge of canceling Prime altogether this summer because of it (I think she kept it for the TV/movie options).

You’d be surprised how many people think she does all the theatrics to hide a poor voice. I’m pretty sure they are all people who, because of all the theatrics, never actually listened to her singing.
