Because Jewish is an ethnicity as well as religion. You can be a non-believing Jew.

I’m mostly in that closet myself.

Yay Bernie! I have to admit, I’m pretty excited to see a non-Christian doing so well. As a secular person, I get very tired of presidential candidates having to pass some kind of “churchiness” test.

Kim seems reasonable enough (“diet exile” lmao), but I’m waiting for the “I was hacked” explanation for that Cosby drivel.

Well that is good to know.

Not always. Little green men usually mean Martians. Maybe they were going for Venusian? Surely Venus people could be purple, blue, and sparkly.

That is a very far reach.

Yeah...not blackface. Not even close. That first photo is unfortunate, but we are all probably better served by making sure what we see is what we think we see before sharpening pitchforks.

The doucheface gene is strong in that family.

But v. v. cute.

I’m sorry, but what? Neither Syed or Avery was lionized by anyone. There was very little about Teresa Halbach, true, but no one would participate. That is their right, but that means what the filmmakers have to work with is minimal. Serial was very respectful to Hae Min, and spoke with her friends and teachers and

I’m sorry, but I think that is ridiculous. It’s not somehow anti-woman to not want an innocent person to be in jail.

They did talk to her friends and teachers and painted a pretty complete picture of an intelligent, popular girl. She was hardly a non-entity, but her life simply wasn’t the focus of the podcast.

My heart breaks for her family, and I’m sure they believe what they were told by police and the prosecution. Of course they blame him. That doesn’t make him guilty, though. It’s a shame innocent people can’t be exonerated without causing more pain to the victim’s family, but it would be even worse to leave them in

The podcast was never anything but respectful to her memory. Wanting to make sure an innocent man wasn’t jailed for her murder isn’t diminishing the tragedy that was her death.

I agree their voting record is very similar on domestic issues, and I will vote for her in the general if she is the nominee, because I’m not an idiot. She isn’t in favor of universal health care though, because she doesn’t believe it is possible, which I disagree with. However, I have other reasons for not supporting

You must not have watched the game if you thought Peyton Manning won that game. Denver’s monster defense gave his brilliant football mind in a broken, decrepit body a second ring so he can retire already. Manning did just enough to let the defense do the rest.

It didn’t get me up and dancing like Bruno Mars’ halftime show did, or Madonna’s, but it was pretty to look at. I think the LGBT and BLM messages in it were wonderful, though, especially when playing to such a large audience. It ranks up there for me on that alone.

I like them.
