YAY YAY YAY!

Yes.

I’ve become too cynical I guess, because I don’t believe for one second that she was unaware people/celebrities retouched pictures on social media. Come on. I’m very tired of celebrities pretending they don’t know how celebrity works.

Austin! But Austin isn’t as cheap.

It’s cheap because the state is huge so land costs almost nothing. They can constantly expand out. Areas where land is at a premium, homes cost a lot more. In the cities in TX it is still more expensive. My ILs moved from Dallas proper to the suburbs and got significantly more house for the same money.

Gross. Shouldn’t she be 25 now though, or is the math part of my brain just dysfunctional this early?

I’m going to go Republican mode and follow whatever truthiness seems most accurate and appealing to the base.

IT IS ALL BOBBY JINDAL’S FAULT. HE OWES US ALL AN APOLOGY. (I mean, he isn’t a real American and probably doesn’t really get the culture)

It’s almost like teenage daughters and their mothers don’t always get along! What a world.

I don’t know who this lady is, but it is painfully clear that she has no knowledge of history and supports Hitler (ok, maybe not that last part but she does seem to want us to be like East Germany so....).

Jeb! Bush is just a straight up asshole. W is an idiot and out of touch with a large swath of people who aren’t privileged, white, and wealthy, but he seems like he is at least a decent person in most respects. His brother is a prick. This is hardly the first shitty thing he’s said with no remorse whatsoever.

EXACTLY.

Of course we need better mental health services. However, mental health care is not immediate and immediately effective. Therefore, access to deadly weapons should be prevented in addition to receiving care. It’s the biggest non-argument after “people kill people” one.

My step-father shot and killed himself. He was depressed for years. My mother feared it was getting worse, and she believed she’d removed all the antique guns from their home (the only ones they owned; they’d been inherited from his mother). She was wrong. He had hidden one. That’s all it took. It was NOT her fault.

I would love that but I also realize it’s a long, hard, and likely losing battle. Easier to make it a special class of weapon requiring extra training and special licensing with deeper background checks.

*WELL-REGULATED. That’s the key part of that protected status. None of these restrictions are unconstitutional. They are regulations. We regulate/restrict (and in some cases remove) basic rights all the time. Free speech is restricted. Practice of religion is restricted. Right to vote is restricted. There is

From what I understand, other witnesses said he asked people if they believed in god and if they replied affirmatively he told them they were going to meet their maker. He shot people either way.

So many anti-gun control people love to compare guns to cars. More and more, I think we need to follow their lead and treat them like cars and treat gun ownership like driving. 6-8 week courses to get licensed, culminated with a test you must pass with a high percentage. You have to be insured and licensed to purchase

But what if I want my jeans to smell like coffee...?

Really? The previews make it look so, so bad. Maybe I will watch the pilot on demand and then determine if it makes its way to my DVR. This makes me slightly hopeful.
