Loved L7 in high school. I can’t believe I didn’t “get” that their name stood for box (as in a girl’s box) until someone pointed it out to me.

I loved all of those things. :) I saw Sonic Youth play a couple of times, and they were really fun. I listened to their albums all the time, and played them on my radio show. It was years later that I finally saw the film and thought, wow, Thurston is a dork in a not good way.

This isn’t really a ‘western’, since the period predates the so-called Old West by several decades. Hugh Glass was a frontiersman and fur trapper, not a cowboy or outlaw. He used muskets and flintlocks, not revolvers at high noon.
