“The pop-ups when you start it are annoying as hell...” That can be disabled in settings. I see pop-ups in Uplay and I believe other launchers. I don’t think those can be disabled, unlike Steam.

are there no metrics to see what times users are playing? i saw in the nintendo video there was a bedtime alarm option, but i don’t think they went into detail about that setting at all.

The Galaxy games got a lot of shit? That’s something I wasn’t aware of, I thought they were both universally liked by the majority of gamers. Metacritic ratings for both of those games are high, and personally I enjoyed it.

I don’t know much about cars, but I actually do know what audio DVD’s are! So, most cars will play music off of a CD just fine. DVD’s typically have a much larger capacity than CD’s. Cars that have audio DVD support allow you to put music files on a DVD disk and play it off of there.

I have one that looks similar. Not sure if this will work for your particular one, but I believe you just twist the large, plastic bowl. However, turn off the switch first, and make sure it’s cool before doing so.

I’m not going to bother with many smart phone games until MiFi controllers and support become more ubiquitous.

Mario Kart 8 is handled on a single track/course. Xenoblade Chronicles X is open world, which is why the graphic fidelity may not be as polished/high as it could be.
