Firth forever and ever, amen.

This is the only adaptation of P and P we will ever need, because it was perfect. See also Anne of Green Gables.

And you’ll notice that the media figured out her usual bullshit tactics and started shutting her out since she was giving no one any actual concrete answers about anything, and she had to fade away? SNL even made fun of how she tried to weasel her way back into their graces in a skit (as Kate McKinnon) ala Fatal

Maxine is 78. She has zero fucks left to give and she is not putting up with this shit.

It’s amazing they got as far as they have given how terrible and obvious their social skills are. It’s like a bunch of lizard people got together and tried to replicate human behavior and oh wait.

I’d say these ladies win, hands down.

I actually gasped out loud like a pantomime audience member. How dare.

What really grinds my gears is that “vajazzling” isn’t even anatomically correct. Pubic-region-jazzling just doesn’t have the same ring, though. Vulvazzling would be more painful if true to its name but it’s also a very good word. Pros and cons.

Waste? That’s not how it works. You seriously contest every district as wave insurance. It’s not like we have a bank with so many perfect candidates and then can deploy them at will to districts.

This adds so much more additional context that makes me a lot more sympathetic to her than I originally was. This paints a REALLY bleak picture of Iowa politics, and I can definitely now understand why she got out. The part about her job also makes me believe her version of this more than anything. Exactly. Cheat.

Benedryl D? As in Diphenhydramine-Pseudoephedrine? What unholy combo is that? One’s a stimulant and the other is a downer... They’d just cancel each other out. Dry you out tho, I bet. No congestion for you.

It seems, though, that she was a contentious candidate even inside of the party. When that’s the case, it’s better to find someone else to run than to bank on a candidate who isn’t even popular in the party she’s running on.

I didn’t mean to indict any one person who felt compelled to remark on Weaver’s candidacy, rather it was the uniformity and rapidity of the criticism pointed toward Weaver that struck me as odd.

C’mon Iowans! You mean to tell me that there’s no one in this photo that can take on a crazy bigot like Steve King?

Is that really so different than telling a distraught person you’ll pray for them? Tarot cards are just as useless, but if it makes the other person feel better, is it bad?

I’m seeing a lot of criticism for Kim Weaver in the comments here (especially in the greys). This story is not about her qualifications as a candidate, especially since she is no longer a candidate. This story is about the abuse she suffered while a candidate, which should not be tolerated regardless of the candidate’s

You’re assuming that your physician’s practice has safeguarded against that possibility with your EMR. Don’t bet the farm on it.
