I think my problem with “reparations” is twofold: one, it paints with too broad a brush (wypipo are evil and keep black people down, so therefore must pay) and two, it’s far too narrow (what about indigenous peoples, peoples of Hispanic descent, African-Americans who are descendants of immigrants post-1964, etc).
