Huh, I thought it was the best episode of the series since "International Assassin". Which was surprising to me since Scott Glenn had never done much for me previously on this series.

Yes, it was implied in Season 1 that they had been close prior to Kevin Sr. being placed in the mental hospital. Kevin Sr. left money for Matt in case of emergency (which Matt uses to gamble so he can get the money he wanted to use to buy the church back). And Kevin and Matt talk about him a couple times in S1. I'm…
Lynch is my favorite director but he seems like a weird choice for that project? He's not really an effects-heavy spectacle or action type of director (see Dune).
Yeah Alien: Covenant definitely seems like it should be Alien 5, even if Promotheus doesn't count. Though it's kind of a prequel.
I definitely think the limited advertising was part of the deal Lynch cut with Showtime. And likely one of the sticking points that almost caused him to bail, along with the indefinite running time.
See I have a hard time seeing Green in the role, as much as I love her. She could probably pull off the goth thing, but I have a hard time seeing her pull off the unexpected lightheartedness Death has that makes her such a great contrast to Dream. She would make an excellent gender switched Morpheus though.
You should definitely check it out. It's really a touchstone for his work as a whole and makes everything else he's done seem minor by comparison. I really think it's one of the most ambitious and epic pieces of American literature.
Huh, the voice I have in mind for Morpheus has never been British, interesting that's important to Gaiman.
Kristen Ritter or Aubrey Plaza would be great as Death.
Quickly? The original Alien was almost forty years ago, and a new Alien movie is getting a big summer release. Alien comics and videogames are still pretty huge. And even Alien 3 didn't arrive till 14 years after the franchise began.
I don't know if that can really be the case, can it? The conflict between David and Farouk is pretty much the central concept of the entire series, and the revelations about the Shadow King being like a parasite in his mind casts the pilot in a completely different light. I really don't think they changed their entire…
Can't they just cast Langella again? He seems like he'd be up for it.
To be fair, Split emphasizes that his disorder is not DID about a bazillion times.
Unforgettable seems more like a remake of Obsession: they look like the exact same movie from previews.
The main problem for me was I thought the main story was more poorly written than the story within a story, so I couldn't really accept the flaws with the novel story as intentional. At least that story had some stakes and slightly more interesting characters: the "real" characters were extremely dull and poorly…

So 7 out of 100 people are gay, yet 95% of people have never encountered a gay person. That really doesn't check out somehow, as I would guess that the vast majority of people have encountered well over a hundred people in their lives.
"When inhuman history has that EVER made society better? But i can list many, many times that it made things much worse."
It kind of makes sense that his skills would deteroriate after 15 years of essentially being out of the television industry I guess. That Amazon pilot "The After" he made was even worse than the worst of season 10, probably the most amateurish and incompetent episode of television I've ever seen.
What? You didn't love him showing up in exactly one scene per episode to yell at Mulder for reasons that don't make any sense? That's what I call fan service right there.
