It was apparently an industry decision during DS9 b/c people had problems with saying his name. It's sad that he had to do it, but it's also understandable why he continued using the changed name afterward in different projects (i.e. name recognition).

Season 3 has been very good so far. They cast Alexander Siddig as Ra's al Ghul.

I think Nygma's progression makes a lot of sense: He has always been "off," but he was also fairly used, abused and invisible at the GCPD and after until Penguin came along and showered him with affection. Bullock and Gordon never minded his help and sometimes sought it out to help with cases, but they never gave him

You're welcome.

Archer's in a coma and dreaming the Dreamland episodes. The "real" world was shown briefly in the first episode.

I think, since this is Archer's dream, that there's another possibility: Maybe the writers were trying to show that it is Archer's poor memory of how to speak French? I can't recall, but was it ever established that he has a good grasp of it? He has Portuguese down apparently, but what about French?

You might want to rethink your mocking tone given tonight's final scenes.

Thank you! I wondered when someone would point out how these people never use the most obvious protections when faced with herds of zombies.

Rick's hand was a decision made because of the costs and the discomfort to Andrew Lincoln. They had difficulty managing the CGI for Merle's hand and Hershel's leg and the actors had difficulty with their scenes.

This! As you point out, Rick should have died from dehydration, but he mysteriously survived. Since the ridiculous was established in the pilot of TWD, I'm not sure why everyone is so angry that Glenn might survive. Of course, it might turn out that Rick is some sort of special, super strong, alive-yet-walker hybrid.

This!

Wasn't the fence covered in plastic? So… splattered against the fence and then back in Glenn's face? Maybe? I don't know.

That would actually be pretty cool — especially if they go the comic route for Glenn's actual death. Then, his death as an immune human would be horribly tragic.

I thought the same thing. I simply saw his horror as being an extensions of watching Nicholas shooting himself in the head after saying 'thank you' and then watching the same man he had managed to "save" be eaten right on top of him.

That's what we saw with Noah's death against the door glass. So, it IS plausible (in The Walking Dead universe) that he will be able to pull himself under the dumpster. If they follow the comics, then there is another obvious reason he didn't die in this scene.

I have been an avid game player and I have used real weapons.

Good points.

Spoilers ahead…

Exactly. You need only to know the basics and the ability to hit the target. Same thing with a hand grenade. He also needed to be able to shoot live targets without freezing up. Since Major didn't see them as anything other than dead zombies, he had just spent all that time being held captive and he likely had

You obviously don't understand what I'm talking about. People who are that heavily into gaming and successful with that particular type of gaming have advantages when it comes to hand-eye coordination and line of sight. The two weapons he used were not incredibly complicated either, which is why I wasn't surprised.
