Yuup. The point of the Sinister Six is that they come together because Spiderman has defeated each of them separately. So we need to see them lose to him or lose something because of him.

These shots just serve to remind me that Star Wars has gone for ‘source material’ for aspiring film makers to just another franchise getting by with nods to other movies. “Ooh look! its the 5th or 6th movie thats redone that shot from that other movie.” How many before its just hack-stalgia?

I feel this and I’ve parsed them differently than say, James Gunn. I’m not suggesting thats correct but here I am. When I watch Stranger Things its for both the front-line storytelling and the referential way they tell it. I like being engrossed in their fictional world AND looking for their stylistic references.

My response to going full Crisis casting was that they need to get a lookalike for Carter’s Steve Trevor, Lyle Waggoner. They still should!
