Nothing beats playing Super Stardust HD in 3D. When you blew up the explosion particles looked like they came out of the screen. SUPER COOL STUFF!

There is better AA, look at the edges of the characters. I couldn't tell much difference in the far away shots.

The R9 290 and R9 290X are both brand new cards with a new architecture unlike the 280X and below. The ones you are referring to are the cards with stock, reference coolers. These cards are what most "water coolers" want because they don't want the stock cooler. Everyone who want air cooling will wait for the better…

To be honest Halo 3 was my favorite game with the Flood, the others not so much. But yes, the flood is where the shotty shined!

The game on consoles will feature a new online co-op mode, and new missions showcasing the mode. The Flood will also be an adversary in Spartan Assault on the 360 and Xbox One, and Operation Hydra, the expansion from the original game, will also be available.
