Perhaps I misinterpreted your comment, but it seemed like you were implying that the police department was somehow responsible for his sentence:

“Well his friends and family don’t think he did it and the victims were poor black whores and you can’t be believing them.”

The jury convicted him of 18 different crimes and recommended the sentence. He didn’t get railroaded by the cops. The jury listened to the victims and believed them. The judge agreed with the jury on sentencing.

It’s poorly edited and way too long. If you stick with it you can kind of picture the Dateline story it might have been: they show you how everyone loved the guy; show you how his wife mysteriously died; and then show you the ugly underbelly and that the guy actually did it. It just didn’t work in this case.

Dude the problem with your theory is lots of police departments have serious problems with race and they don’t sacrifice anyone.

His work also appears in e-books called Power Up! For the Diamond and Power Up! For the Gridiron, which are Christian devotional books for baseball and football squadrons, respectively. His author bio notes that he is, of course, a Cubs fan.

Of course, the shutters have been pulled down over his Twitter feed.

That is an incredible sentence. It deserves to be jarred in formaldehyde for the study of future generations.

What a horribly written tweet.

All you need to know about Holtzclaw is that when a cop in his department saw a pro-Holtzclaw article being shared on Facebook he lost his shit. He was fucking furious and had to refute it. (And almost accidentally jeopardized the case and said a couple of questionable things.)

You're right. It's kind of crazy that it takes a genuine apology to floor people. Empathy is such a rarity nowadays it seems.

That was the one bright spot in this whole debacle.

I know, for once it wasn’t, “I’m sorry if the article offended anyone.” They actually straight up apologized for it being a horrible article.

That was actually a decent apology from the editor....

Holtzclaw is continually described as a man who actively worked to stay out of trouble—as if it’s a shock when previously law-abiding men decide to rape women.

The downside to digital media is that, at the end of the day, you can’t wipe your ass with it.

he probably already gets shit for it in the locker room

yeah, google aj mccarron chest tattoo

Holy hell is that terrible.

She has to be incredibly shallow and desperately needs status in life to date someone with such a stupid tattoo
