Rich people stand to lose more if society collapses. They should be smart enough to realize that their paying taxes helps preserve a system that is working out pretty darn well for them. Many high profile self-made uber rich get that concept - Gates, Buffett, etc. It’s the trust fund babies like Trump who don’t.
