Pretty good looking cases, but....it looks like they're just printed plastic shells and Schreer wants $45 for one. I can buy several decent shell cases elsewhere for that price.

My Tornado has wood handles. It's only in the last three years or so that Tornado started using plastic handles, and then I believe only on the tournament models.

I think I had the same Realistic pre-amp. I bought it in the late '70's when I got my first decent turntable, but still had a crap stereo system without phono inputs. I might even still have it somewhere in the garage.

A good foosball table costs twice that or more. I have a Tornado Elite in my sunroom. It's $1,400 and it's just a high end home model. The tournament model is another $400.

Having a lot of experience with vinyl (purchased my first LP in 1972), I think I can safely say you do not want a cheap "record player" with built-in speakers. It's not worth starting a vinyl collection if that's what you're going to play them on. Though you can spend many thousands of dollars on a good turntable…

Search for "turntable preamp" on Amazon. Lots of inexpensive choices.
