I'm sure there will always be a split with this one, but I see this as 100% Dixon's fault. I understand it's a race, but in Pit Lane, he's going to peel out and very obviously get way too close to Powers' car? I think it's appropriate.

I expected the Lemons race cars...BUT this is still pretty cool. That Sprite looks good in yellow actually, I've only seen them in green and white around here.
Does it seriously take that many weights to balance that wheel?
My dad bought ours brand new. The 89 was his third Omni. I think that says something in itself. Ours was white, had the blue vinyl/silver cloth interior, 5 spd manual, and had a rumble to it. My dad doesn't talk about it, but the thing drove like a tank, and my mom, sisters and I all think it was an unbadged GLH-S,…
The first road car I drove on the road was an 1989 Omni. While everything worked (the car was very well kept), when it got towards the end of my family's ownership of the car, I could see how this is the PERFECT comparison to a hipster bike.
Now, as a cyclist, I just have to ask...With speeds of "stop" and "saunter" did you expect the Google arrival times to be accurate? Maybe Google should put in a "hipster" travel method. I'm sure it could just take the times, multiple them by 1.3 and call it a day.
Something to note about those cameras is that they are not installed or run by law enforcement agencies. They can mail you a ticket, but they do not chase you down if you never pay/respond.
Not this weekend, but last weekend I had a chance to play in an SL600, and was plowing down some roads with a McLaren MP4-12C owner. Considering I had twice the engine, I felt I was having more fun, however on paper, he had something like twice the horsepower, so maybe he was having more fun?
I know this all too well. I have a very set schedule, and i go to bed relatively early for someone my age because I'm just very tired. Getting sick a couple times and being in my current situation doesn't help, but my girlfriend is typically up all night. On a really good night she may come to bed around 2am.
Maybe I'm biased, but for a supercar, it certainly doesn't sound super...it sounds muffled/muted, and who would do that to a supercar?
It totally sucks starting off in NJ. You try to travel somewhere, and everyone thinks you're going too fast. Then they try to travel somewhere here, and can't figure out how a jughandle/left turn works...just a sad sad case...
Unless you've just got a lemon, the first gens were a little nicer. Lighter, slightly less problematic engine. The second gen, well, it's no difference, they're nice if you don't have a lemon, but if you have a lemon, you'll always have a lemon.
As a car guy who frequents shows, and a cyclist, I approve this message.
Haha, well, after bad syncros in trans #1, and a bad throwout bearing in trans #2, the car better be happy. I need an oil change and a wheel alignment, but she's pretty happy.
Every car in my house gets the same treatment. I don't know if I would go as far as talking about HP gains, but the car is certainly much happier. To be honest though, my neon is pretty happy just being a neon.
I'm glad I read this! I feel the very same about the cycling that I do, however I have not, and likely will never do competitive cycling (despite having told myself I would a few years ago).
I fully agree. I could have installed Linux on my new desktop, however in my case, I need really reliable video editing software that I know and can work with right away. I got the student CS6 Master Collection because I knew I needed a whole lot more than the production premium offered (either for work or school…
Here's what you do:
I do own a smartphone, but my car does not have navigation. When I have a co-driver, I'll have them use the navigation to get me to where I'm familiar, and then turn it off. I'm definitely not directionally challenged, I started with using an "old fashioned" map, and being a cyclist means I know my way around several…
