This is true, however what makes this newsworthy is that Elon Musk specifically said that the Cybertruck could ford rivers AND EVEN SEAS THAT ARENT TOO CHOPPY.

That is true, but this thing was billed as a SUPER CAPABLE truck that could withstand the apocalypse if I am not mistaken.

Legitimately curious -- all things being equal (driver skill and all) does the weight of this beast handicap it as it likely chews up the riverbank as it tries to crawl its way out, or did the weight of this thing actually help it from being washed away in that pretty serious current? Much as I think that truck is an ugly turd (and not super competent offroad) this is clearly a driver error issue.

Was going to say the same thing, the Cybertruck IS dumb, but I would bet ANY stock off road version of a truck would have problems with that same crossing.
