Oh, do we know that statistically? And what is “safer”?
Oh, do we know that statistically? And what is “safer”?
Unfortunately, there’s no way to prove that the situation would have been any better without a cop presence. Statistically, we do know that areas with a greater cop presence tend to be safer than areas with less so I think it’s fair to assume that there’s generally a direct correlation between cops and safety.
Morons apparently enjoy watching attention whore morons, do moronic things.
Calm down, sir.
No, I think any large gathering that involves the giving away of free stuff is very likely going to become a mess. But that situation would not have been AS violent had the cops just stayed out of it. They do not provide the order that people claim they do, particularly in today’s environment and in a situation mostly…
You should at least change your name to suit your shitty gimmick.
The police presence would theoretically moderate the event and mitigate the amount of violent incidents that could occur.
The pot and kettle called. It seems like you stole all their black?
You'll find that I didn't "gloss over" shit, "sport". But fun bad attempt at dismissal!
None of that addresses what material good would come from a police presence.
“All police had to do was *ask* what was going on!”
He’s apparently extremely popular but every time I hear about him it’s for something stupid or bad. What’s the appeal here?
Wow, you’re going to just post the same stupid shit 20 times, aren’t you? I guess that’s your only option when you have nothing interesting to say.
Yeah right, gloss right over the main cause of this BS and pass the blame on to the cops. Pure genius. Take a seat at the kiddie acab table there sport.
I hate when people bring up their (religious) cult in reference to all of us. Keep that shit to yourself!
Yeah, I don't love the police response but Kai Cenat is the responsible party here. People used to damn near murder each other for the CHANCE to buy cheap shit on Black Friday, and this kid thought inviting thousands of people to a disorganised block party to give away PS5s and PCs and gift cards wasn't going to…
Given the history of casualties at Black Friday sales which are moderated and where people still have to pay for stuff, I think it’s safe to assume that a huge, unmoderated crowd of people trying to get free stuff could very easily descend into chaos. Fights, trampling, etc. There’s a reason there are regulations for…
This feels like an unfortunate combination of poor planning by Cenat and the very predictable unnecessary escalation of cops. I guarantee that if the police hadn't shown up in force this event would have been a messy mild disaster. But it became a riot because *of course* it did. When cops show up, shit always becomes…
LOL at you humans.
Capitalism was a mistake.
