I knew you couldn’t get through this story without a good hand-wringing over CUVs. It’ll be nice when we reach the point where the general superiority of CUVs for the average driver is finally grudgingly acknowledged by the automotive media. 

This needs to be clarified as “New corvette owners”. The most recent two generations of Vette will be garage queens from middle aged to retirement age men that use it as a replacement for a personality.
