well, my wife made the mistake of drying the plastic liner of our shower curtain and it literally melted and molded to the back of the dryer. i have been able to scrape off quite a bit of it, after an intensive heat cycle (be careful and don’t burn baby). but a good portion still remains - stuck to metal.
