I think Clarity is a near perfect album. With that said, I agree nothing has really done anything for me since Futures.

Me too!
I miss the Weakerthans. Also, this news sucks. I hope they can get the rest and help hey need and come back better than ever.
Instead of bitching about a Kim-less Pixies, shouldn't we be asking where the new Breeders album is?
I'm with Burger Boy. Burger Brigade forever!
Why is no one mentioning she ended her Super Bowl performance with a tribute to the escalator to nowhere?
When I started to get closer to the #1 spot, I was thinking "oh shit, maybe Rallys is going to grab the top ranking." But…but…there was no Rallys? What!?
Maybe now people will start listening to DeVos. We can't take these animals for granted! They can and will attack places where children gather.
That song is killer and all the proof I need this might finally happen. Your memory of getting to sing on stage is great. No worries with the gushing.
No excitement for the new Wrens album? Maybe it's because until it drops no one actually believes it's real. I heard The World Is…is recording, so that's something I'm really looking forward to as well. "Harmlessness" was my favorite album of 2015.
The Long Walk is probably my favorite King novel. I'm not sure why it hasn't been adapted into a movie yet.
The only correct answer.
I came to the comment section hoping for answers!
That's a great point. I do have a lot of artists in those genres that made some bad music in my collection, but others that I will defend forever, so I suppose it goes both ways.
I have that combo Pixies album too. I believe, when combined like that, it becomes the best album of all time.
I was thinking the same thing, except my collection has a lot of albums of questionable taste. I really liked ska and pop punk in the late 90's until I discovered emo, so a lot of my collection is what many would call bad (not the emo though, that stuff is still great). I'm interested to see what, if any, still holds…
I got into Fallow right from the start, but it was Left and Leaving that really blew me away. I can definitely see what you're saying that it can feel a little overwrought though. Reconstruction Site is probably my least favorite, although it's got some real gems on it.
You didn't lose me with the purging of Weezer. You lost me a few bands before by purging your one (you only had ONE!?) Weakerthans album. I don't know what album, but it still seems crazy to me.
I was under the impression it stood for no talent.
I got up early this morning and am bingeing on all three while I drink my morning cup of Joe. The Joyce Manor album is really good.
