The 50 miles is based on EPA drive cycles for city and highway. With that being said you would more than likely deplete the battery quicker on a track day. After the 2-cyl genset kicks in you’re golden, you will still maintain the same amount of power at the wheels (i.e. electric drive motors)!

The 2 cylinder engine exhaust is coupled back into the stock Brzs.
Total range is 550miles
The battery pack turned out pretty nice it weighs 348lbs

The engine is used purely to sustain the charge of the battery around 15-20%. There is no mechanical linkage between the eninge and the drive wheels.
The 2-cylinder engine actually has emission control devices attached!
It can go 50 miles all EV and an additional 500 when the genset kicks in. That should give you a great deal of fun at the track!
