“I suck at giving interviews”

Well, I don’t know what else I was expecting.

Ugh, my takeaways from the article:

Bill Simmons is like every other Boston fan... always fucking whining.

I am ever so thankful that HBO moved that awful commercial to the end of Game of Thrones. It’s like an alarm to get the channel changed.

I mean I get that Simmons has done some things, but how on earth can his ego be that big. I mean...you’re Bill Simmons.

Bill Simmons got tens of millions of dollars from ESPN in salary, and he got to build the site he wanted, hire the writers he wanted, write the content he wanted, produce the TV shows he wanted, work on the NBA show he wanted to work on, and then work on the other NBA show he wanted after he stopped wanting to work on…

tl;dr - Bill Simmons: still the same guy.

Simmons has some talent..but boy does the guy come off like a whiney little brat. And just looking at the promos for his upcoming HBO series tells me that his new stuff doesn’t look that compelling.

I like that in Bill Simmons mind people respect him.
