Because he has the most fragile ego in presidential history and no care for anything or anyone but himself. He doesn’t give a shit about the government, the workers, the Congress, the GOP, or anything else but his overweening, desperate need to be seen as big, strong, and winning, every time, all the time. He needs a

I dunno. I find the news of the last few days particularly chilling. We should look beyond the surface and see that a horrifying triangle has been built over the last few months that has the potential to shut all of us out of the functioning of government. The unholy triad is headed by Mitch McConnell, who is

All I know is the media is a lot harder on socialists and environmentalists than liars and racists. That tells you everything about the media.

“Why was the president breathing like this?”

To get our hopes up.

I ask ‘what has Trump done for you that is a positive’? When they say ‘tax reform’ I ask them how that impacts them personally, or what other evidence they have that said reforms have had a positive impact on the economy. Always crickets.

Yeah, seriously. This weekend was yet another reminder of how shitty our media is. Cooper’s generally one of the less-shitty ones, but his performance here was awful. Ditto the whole Chris Wallace thing on Fox... like, yeah, I get why it’s a big deal, but it kind of sets our current situation into stark relief when

You have to give them a little bit of a break though. They were excited for the prospect of 4-8 years of bitching about Hillary being the cause of everything bad in the universe and that was taken away from them.

She should not address him directly. When the political horse race enthusiasts at CNN et al. ask her about some awful, racist thing that Orange shit for brains said to insult her, she should just state his policies, how they are hurting us all and what we can do to fix them.

Gee, it’s almost like we should just pay servers a living wage and kick all this dumb tipping shit to the curb.

No. Their employer is stiffing the staff. Customers should tip, but they are not responsible for complying with labor laws.

I think you underestimate the stranglehold that business has on our government. The government should protect/promote business, consumers, and workers reasonably equally, but that’s not what’s happening.

Trump’s just pissed because he has no clue how to be Scott Free.

he was elected to lead, not to read.

That was pretty offensive....

Why would we stop stamping now? Did we suddenly grow a conscience? Easy to fix anyways, legislate paying a living wage and universal healthcare for all. Boom, now we can stop subsidizing oil and gas AND electric cars and use that extra money to fix infrastructure.

“Yes there are other things that should be happening as well, such as finding a way for EV owners to contribute to the roads they use since they never have to pay for an emissions test.”

I assume you’re also in favor of getting rid of all the subsidies for the gas and oil industries as well? Their subsidies dwarf those given to renewables and EVs.

Uh, could you write an article on how to change back?  I followed the advice here and well, uh, now I’m an asshole.

To be clear, I will not be on stage campaigning with the President. I am covering a final rally for my show.
