I’d add the superstar to the game without the tats, then when they say hey what’s the deal, they can deal with the artist when they find out.

The person said that’s the limit for feeding through the wall outlet, and that they feed through the stove outlet which supports their heavy duty generator.

Ok you’re choosing to not understand the discussion so I will end my participation on this one.

ConspicousAbsinthe basically answered your question but also I would point out that the modern Democrat and modern Republican have changed political position (the party of Lincoln, remember?), so that the comparisons should be kept to, say, 1935 to current, otherwise you’d be showing disingenous data about R’s

A vote against Kavanaugh is not the same thing as a vote against Jackson.

When I lived in NYC and the subway had a shutdown, the transit authority would send buses and follow the train route (ie stop at the train stations in order). It seems to be the best way to handle that, if you have the buses to spare and the street traffic isn’t pure chaos.

Correct; the one that passed was the “bipartisan infrastructure” bill, the other is the Build Back Better which is being processed through reconciliation (so you don’t need the filibuster-proof majority, just a straight majority vote).

And we know he reached/fired because we have video of this?

The tongue, mind, and heart all have no bones.

Stalking Goat’s second point applies here: if the shooters in the car are targeting the cops, and there’s innocent bystanders, then the cops should take cover to not get shot and not give the shooters a target to shoot at; also don’t shoot at the people in the car if there’s bystanders which can get hit.

Same. Whichever SR was contemporary with GTA4 (SR3?) was so much fun: voice selection, “plastic surgery” in-game, fight-club events, compared to GTA4 where I played as a person with friends and family I didn’t care about, and friend events that I didn’t want to do. I never finished that game. When GTA5 came out with

I feel that making something special is thoughtful and shows you want to do something that they will enjoy, whereas doing a chore suggests that this chore is all I value you for, and I acknowledge you by doing it today, then back to your task, drone.

Before plague-time I tried to expand my brother and nephew’s palates; turns out my nephew only eats plain lomein noodles from the Chinese restaurant. I’ll try again with a downtown ramen spot but I don’t have high hopes.

When I was a youngster my parents were very clear in delineating what was and what was not for me (and my brother). When Mom got a special breakfast it went in the same mental bin as coffee: parent food; and even if it looks good you can’t have any.

100% this. If it’s a gift FOR HER then make it FOR HER. When you make breakfast for the whole house then you’ve done a chore for her, which is ok but shouldn’t be special (“Hey mom that grimy task you do every day? I did it this once and you can continue with it tomorrow”).

I could attach a video series of cops not shooting the person with a gun, including cases where the person in question had actually just finished killing people with that gun. Sometimes you get Burger King!

Ok sometimes there is in fact a black-and-white narrative:

Trump wasn’t even fired, his contract wasn’t re-upped (and that was a near thing)
