What's interesting to me is how everyone sees Leslie as a hero and the town as the villain. Leslie is constantly maneuvering solutions that no one really wants, going against the will of the people she is supposed to be serving, and acting like anyone who opposes her are jerks. The problem with this show is that it seems to be too ethereal last season. Too much weird forced imagery, the strange Swede stuff, and not enough actual drama about building a railroad.
