Sorry, this is sort of a late response but the Xoom is plastic and Motorola took almost no time to make a strong design. The electronics inside are dead the moment you drop it once...

Still doesn't have a good notification system, 1) widgets, 2) multitasking, 3) decent cameras, HDMI without an adapter, expandable storage, HD screen, 4G, 4) Flash, GPS (on the Wifi version). 5) It does have some nifty apps though.
