I started playing soccer at 3 or 4, a year prior to entering kindergarten. I can’t say that it is that uncommon, at that point it is like the >1 year old gymnast classes a lot of places have, less acutal sport and more kids learning how to move around and parents to meet parents of similar aged kids.
