I'm glad some people are discussing the most inhumane thing I've seen in a reality show. One day without sleep is enough, but two days in a row? It's as though the contestants are auditioning to prove al Qaida won't brek them. Does anyone check to see if there is any health or workplace violation?

I just don't get why the sleep deprivation. Are the contestants being subjected to this to prove they can withstand torture? Isn't there a more humane way to ferret out the strongest dancers? Is it even legal to do this?
