I was stoned the first time I saw Lightning Bolt. That was difficult. One of their songs felt like 5 minutes of acceleration, though I'm not sure the tempo changed at all. I almost fainted.

Every image in the Thundarr video was familiar to me even though I can't remember particulars of the show. For some reason, I want to shout "ride, Ookla!"

I don't think he punches the guy. Carl Evello seems to think something more mysterious happened, and I agree. The look of terror on Charlie Max's face couldn't have come from a punch.

Modern times
So many expensive haircuts and affected poses in these pictures. One Grinderman picture would help.

MF Doom is a disappointment. I saw him in 2005 or 2006 with Big Daddy Kane and Little Brother. Big Daddy Kane made them all look like amateurs.
