I enjoyed these episodes, but it might simply be in comparison to the one immediately before that revolved around the unpleasant but familiar story of 'authority' figures trying to take away a females agency.

The hating is due to men liking their privilege but not liking it being pointed out to them.

Let's not forget that much of the violence is perpetrated against women,
and in my opinion shown purely for male viewers 'excitement' - as Sonia
hinted in the excellent Rape Of Thrones article.
