Sorry to hear. But yeah, its low maintenance is one of my favorite things about it. Running shoes and some athletic clothes is pretty much all you need, wherever you are. Walk out the door and the workout starts. Love it.

I took some time off and am now doing a slow ramp up of weekly mileage. Foam rolling, stretching, icing, and hip/butt exercises with PT bands. I definitely don’t, because I don’t lift for 40 minutes straight nor do I care to.

I have never and do not intend to “run all the time.” And while I don’t doubt there are other ways to logistically burn more calories per minute, as I said, running is the preferred workout for me. I can’t swim 40 minutes straight, nor do I want to.

Yeah, it’s easy enough to get one. But there is a financial and time commitment that’s required to attend the class and pay for the license, which to many gun rights proponents is an unconstitutional hindrance... similar to the argument about voter ID requirements hindering the right to vote.

You can only legally take a firearm into a Walmart store if you have a concealed handgun license (ironically, which is needed to open carry). So that actually could validate an NRA argument against the license requirement. If only the victim, employees, and/or shoppers were armed, they could have stopped the shooter.…
