Nearly everything about the fashion industry turns my stomach. These women are rail thin (and don’t give me bullshit about concern trolling, we all know that there are SERIOUS issues in this industry with women’s health), they are trotting around in absurd/dangerous/unhealthy shoes (and their legs and ankles look

As a woman, I don’t understand it either. I think it’s basically just art admiration, though. Like an impractical but beautiful sculpture. It’s not really meant to be worn.

As I said elsewhere, it’s not a matter of ability; it’s a matter of assignment. The window regulator was most likely under the purview of an engineering team separate from that which worked on the drivetrain. I would bet money on it. The fact that it sucks isn’t the smoking gun you want it to be.

Because when a car company has a problem with a window switch, it cannot have anything to do with corporate attitude towards quality. Seriously, the only thing that ever goes wrong on a VW is the window switches.

So, it took VW 8 years to identify a bracket that wasn’t built right. That does not inspire confidence that they can build a quality hybrid drivetrain.

Well, let’s think about this. A window regulator is a small simple part. A hybrid drive train is a big complex part - note that Compu never said they were equal. Is it not a valid to question a company’s ability to build a big complex part when they can’t build a small simple part?

I’m pretty sure I spent more money on window regulators and ball bearings for my 98 Jetta than I did on diesel during the 4-5 year span I owned that car.

Yes! I love my 2012 VW and it’s third water pump! I find the subframe bolt clunking to be soothing after a long day in the service waiting area :) The clutch pressure plate failure at 16k encouraged me to stay at home and study. Probably added 0.1 to my GPA!

My car even has mood lighting, the footwell lights randomly

You’re going to recommend some get a hybrid from the company that took from 1985 to 2003 to design a power window regulator that didn’t fail all the time? Brave.
I’m going to continue driving my ‘12 Passat TDI, and will continue doing so after the recall. On the Passats anyway I expect it to be software only , and not

Good luck to the VW Auto Group in North America (VAGiNA)!

In medeival times, the more you paid, the closer you were buried to the altar (which was very holy because communion was given there and it contained a relic of some kind). Whats the difference with this? The Church (big C) has always found a way to make money. Want to mount a Crusade, sell indulgences. Following the
