I predict “SaySay”, at least here.

That’s a good point. But I do feel like RD could have taken off her costume, so to speak, if she needed to be white. Caitlyn Jenner, and most other trans people (especially after begining to transition), don’t have that option. I would venture to say that she (Jenner) is now experiencing being a woman, and a trans

but the exact same ingredients that made me could have made a boy.

POCs rightly resent her being given all the advantages of whitehood from birth, but then appropriating the pain and struggle of non-whitehood.

Yep,

I’m one of those few females who were SF geeks back when the original SW trilogy came out, when being a tech/SF/science/reading nerd in general got you beat up in school.

I think his satire was right on. That -is- usually the response to anyone saying anything that we don’t like. They must be hounded until curled up in the fetal position and suicidal.

Really well put, and HIGH-larious to see it getting lots of stars here at “pounce immediately on any possible imperfectly-phrased tweet and metaphorically beat the word mis-user to death” central.

She doesn’t seem capable of physically closing her mouth. If she were a hologram they could program it to occasionally close its mouth during the hourly selfie-taking break!

NeNe Leakes sounds like a maxipad brand.

And doesn’t the dog with the card in its mouth look like it’s mounted on the wall? Like a hunting trophy??

Yeah, I see your point, but I think the stuff you pointed out blends in with what I said earlier — if kids were mature enough to have the same experiences as adults, we’d emancipate them much younger.

Certainly kids, and especially teenagers, have “certain civil rights”, as you say.

Since when do kids have the same right as adults anyway?

Further selfishness from the selfie generation.

WHAT kind of machete-work has Gomez done to get a face like in that top photo??? It looks like every part of her face has had part of someone else’s face grafted onto it or something.

Doesn’t this depend on what “the job” is? I’m a woman, and totes about equal opportunity in society, but the military has always been separate from society, from the usual Constitutional society we have.

And yet, there is no epidemic of pregnant servicewomen.

If seeing women being blown apart in a fatal incident makes this country rethink the wisdom of asking teans and early 20’s to die for their nation, then its a great and moral addition, among other reasons.

“Nearly 11% of more than 7,000 active-duty women surveyed by the Department of Defense reported an unplanned pregnancy during the previous year. That’s 50% higher than the average rate in the United States, the study authors say. The study, publishing next month in the journal Obstetrics & Gynecology, also notes that
