I know I’ll probably remain in the greys forever, but I just wanted to point out that the post addressing the autoplay videos is gone. Hopefully it gets reposted or addressed, that seems shady AF since they never delete posts here.

I am so sorry for your loss, this is one of the most painful, poignant, difficult but necessary piece I've ever read, patriarchy literally kills, I'm so sorry you feel that you couldn't reach out to him, but, as you have said, it feel out of your control, you were pushed away. Thank you for sharing.

This is one of the reasons I haven’t quit Twitter yet:

Lizzo should’ve never tweeted the photo of the person involved, complaining about the service is one thing, but that was doxing, not great ma’am.

Thanks for that itemized list, overall I think most of the think pieces that have been written about this show should've been as succinct as this one.

It has been fascinating to me witnessing since the “feud” between Popeyes and Chick Fil A, to the huge lines, to Janelle Monae saying people lining up for a sandwich don’t line up to vote (absurd) to the overworked and underpaid people working three times as hard for the same money; and finally its "death". It has

Awful, how does one have such delusions of grandeur and commits such crimes and there's no consequence to them whatsoever. And the one nation where the victims revolted is currently the poorest country in the Americas.

I think it’s great that she’s releasing new music. But man, people were really annoying about it, every single post she made about Fenty or Guava Island was flooded with comments asking when is the next album. I think when her album drops people won’t wait and begin asking for another album. I am excited about the new

Sure, back then he was perfect, but for this role in particular, in this year...

Ew, no, Keanu is lovely and all, but he could be my dad and I'm 28, at least look for someone younger than 30 for her, maybe Chalamet?

Colombia*, and that’s really too bad.

Now the family is asking not to “politicize the tragedy” after the uncle allowed the baby to be photographed this way. Ugh.

Ugh, what a coconut, this is so ingrained in their minds, even when it affected him personally he doesn’t want to see reality. Poor baby.

That, and also the fact that many Latinx are white, and with the I got mine mentality. As a Nicaraguan it sucks specially for me because I know many of us in Florida are Republicans, just mind boggling overall.

As a Latina, it doesn’t stop baffling me the fact that three years in, there’s still latinx that support this cheeto, but unfortunately our community generally continues to be “traditional” (I.e. chauvinistic, misogynistic)

Well, I have decided to simply not watch it and just watch the old one, I figure they will continue being made anyway since people continue flocking to watch them.

Like you just expressed, this is a reply on an article, real life situations demands more nuance. But when there's a question about responsibility I believe this is pretty clear.

I just realized myself I am bisexual, I am currently with a man, I feel these stories need to be told more, given that I think that there are more bi/pan people than society realizes. The erasure needs to stop.

The article asked a question, and I answered, I'm sympathetic but this is really a no brainer, a child is not some purse or cellphone, so I feel the responsibility falls in whomever forgot the child in the oven.

These cases are heartbreaking, but on who else is the fault going to fall if not the parent? Perhaps some sort of sensor or something can be developed, but in the end the parents need to be mindful.
