Strontium isn’t the only calcium mimic. Strontium-89 has been used to treat cancer spread to bones, but has largely been replaced by Samarium-153 which is less toxic. These are most commonly used in prostate cancer, but Radium-223 has superseded both in that disease as it is more effective and probably safer.

Yeah, I just didn’t get any chills or goosebumps watching it. Probably a good movie, but I was hoping for more. I felt like GDT saw House on Haunted Hill and decided to put his spin on it.

CGI just isn’t scary. How can I be frightened when the monster is clearly not in the same room as the actors?

If the guy can’t control his temper or subdue a drunk woman without smashing her face in he has no business in that job.

They heard you were playing ...

Grave of the Fireflies was so good, I never want to see it again. It was depressing as hell and emotionally draining to watch.

Fascinating how difficult it is to perceive our environment from within!

While I don't think it was debunked, I think everyone is very skeptical of it actually working. Fusion requires extreme parameters that even with our technology and knowledge today, we haven't figured out how keep a sustained reaction.

Moxxi is such a hilarious over the top character. She's part of the heart and soul of borderlands imp.

I'm trying to wrap my head around this experiment. So a neutrino fired at a carbon nucleus (composed of protons and neutrons) will sometimes spontaneously cause charged pions to appear out of nowhere and deflect the neutrino away from the carbon nucleus bubble?

So you want them to go back to charging one million for source code, as a programmer I love the fact that I get the source for 19 bucks a month.

The cluelessness is strong with this one.

Also, I was debating whether or not to discuss your moral stance here, but the more I look at this:

I understand your frustration, but Epic's model is the only reason small publishers can afford to use the top engine at all.

Plants are living, thinking, feeling creatures, not unlike your family pet. If you wouldn't eat your dog, then you shouldn't eat your broccoli. Go synthaterian, we live entirely off twinkies, astronaut ice cream and Mountain Dew. Anything that isn't synthized whole cloth in a lab is just another form of death-karma.

It makes the stars hard to see as it is. I wonder what impact that would have had on astronomy and astrology.

Speaking as a parent and an uncle who is constantly having to come up with small-priced items to get as presents, it is okay. "Which traps do they need? Cool, I'll go spend $12 and make them stupidly happy." That's great.

I'll get my global warming facts from politicians — who are elected because they're also genius climate scientists — thank you very much.

Rubbish. I know plenty of people who smoke who have never done harder stuff. They all hold good jobs and are no burden to anyone.
