If the garage were an automated parking garage, the car would only need to navigate to the entry cabin and communicate with the garage that it’s ready to be stored, the garage software would do the rest.

Sounds to me like unless you need the third row seating, you’re better off getting a AllTrack instead of this thing.
I guess I don’t see it... the badge engineering clearly sets these cars apart. How could you ever confuse that blue Bentley with the orange Lincoln?
So I can’t order a Lapiz Blue Metallic GTI Sportwagen S with Clark Plaid seating ad 6-speed manual? lol Either way, it sounds like its not any easier to get exactly the car you want.
Unless things have changed, I was told several year ago that I could NOT “order” a VW. The process they refered to as “ordering” was to take a customer request, place that request with the shipping dock and if/when one came in, it would be yours. Could this still be the case under the guise or “ordering”?
Only when there is enough demand, and even then it might be limited in production, but I would at the very least say if it rolls down the same production line, why can’t it be ordered that way? Why can I get Silk Blue on a Golf but not the GTI when they are produced on the same line? Why must I be forced to have…
Many interesting suggestions and some I'd like to see/own.
Sorry, misunderstood your post.
I've bought two vehicles now that were "Dealer Trades" and NEVER paid a "Transfer Fee" Sounds to me like they found a way to get a little extra from you.
The servers are all protected from EMP within their "coffin-like" Electronic Modular Enclosures. The fact that the enclosure handles the protection is why current, off-the-shelf components can be use and upgraded. As for a cyber attack... I don't know what protection it has.
I recently asked VW the same question. Since the Golf, GTI and wagon will all be made in the same facility (Pueblo) why can't they offer a GTI version of the wagon? I realize it's more of a niche, but since all the parts are there in the plant, why can't it be a special order availability? I was told that they…
