So like, The Santa Clause, but this time they use those friggin’ laser pointers like all the kids do with airplanes?

I don’t want to go overboard, but here’s the thing: If this were to evolve into a “Santa Escapes from....”, well, gosh darn it, I’d be happy.

Does ‘Wag the Dog’ really need a 20th anniversary retrospective?

Good for John Oliver for pressing the issue. And to bring up Weinstein and Spacey as if one groping allegation should just be shrugged off is an attempt at making the bad appear good because it’s not insanely evil. It’s still bad. And there’s still more than one allegation as the related stories shows.

Wasn’t the whole selling point of this show that it was a mini That ‘70s reunion? Unless Wilmer or Topher are willing to save it (and, come on, we all know they’re both extremely available), there’s literally no point in this show existing.

Let’s assume for a second that everything Singer has ever claimed is completely true. Maybe he really never did anything bad at any point in his life. Maybe Fox did unjustifiably fire him because he needed some personal time.

“But those other rumors? Well, we don’t talk about those.”

Can we all agree now that Bryan Singer is nothing much without Christopher McQuarrie?

Cable news, at its worst, is Fox News. At its best, it is merely worthless.

The cool thing is that Cernovich, someone who literally has been charged with rape and continues to advocate for sexual violence will never lose his platform because the founder of twitter follows him.

I do not believe that this has anything to do with the tweet. Ever since Comcast overlords decided to put all the NBC news channels and programs under one roof and placed Andy Lack at the head, MSNBC has become less like the Fox news for the left and more like Fox News.  They’ve fired all of their most liberal show

What was I just saying yesterday about how MSNBC is only ostensibly leftist and at heart a corporate (read: deeply conservative) organization that only employs people like the great Christmas Hayes and the awesome Rachel Maddow as counter-programming?

It’s really mind blowing. They actually convinced people that the tweet was sincere and not a joke. It’s a great joke too! One that points out the hypocrisy and ambivalence of Hollywood.

Don’t disparage the good name of human garbage like that!

Cernovich is human garbage.

Does The Ranch make that much money for Netflix? I’d literally never heard of it until it started being mentioned in relation to these “Hyde from That ‘70s Show is allegedly a rapist” stories. I can’t imagine it was a bigger hit for the service than House of Cards, and we all saw how fast they left a Kevin

...asked why Netflix wasn’t taking the allegations from Masterson’s accusers seriously... he responded, “we don’t believe them.”

He probably thought it was off the record banter with a soccer mom.

Everything else aside, why on earth would that executive say anything besides “Legal says I’m not allowed to comment on that”?

It ended right. Frank & Micro get the vengeance they deserved, Micro gets to go home, Frank gets to go, and Madani remains the least believable character of the trio.
