Surprised you left off Psycho Circus, which was hyped as being the big reunion album when in reality the band lied through their teeth and the original line-up only fully played together on a single track, with most of the other songs having Simmons & Stanley backed by uncredited session musicians.

KISS was a horrible band.

I’ve never really understood it. When a commercial comes on I swittch off, especially if it’s the same few over and over. I can’t be the only one.

Thinking of writers like Ignatiy, Sean O’Neal, Emily Vanderwyff, etc trying to wrap their heads around an article minimizing the importance of Martin Scorsese...  it just doesn’t compute.

Yeah, this is just the author couching flaccid criticism of Scorsese in Social Justice lingo to try and sound deeper than whatever the point seems to be. Like we’re not talking about nuanced takes of masculinity like Scrader’s films that can oftentimes feel like they’re elevating bad men. The men in Scorsese’s films

This person CLEARLY didn't see Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore which is a fantastic feminist film.

I would argue even his flops like Kundun still generate more discussion then some Marvel films.  When was the last time a human being mentioned Iron Man 2?

This is genuinely one of the most rancid, thoughtless articles in the history of the AV Club. It is antithetical to what this website used to be. G/O Media should do us a favor and shut the whole fucking thing down.
