Oh yay, instead of janky incoherent UI design widgets of Android we get the usually more polished approach of Apple. But thanks for sharing that you will stick with Android and a custom launcher though, I’m sure most people were waiting in anticipation to hear from you :). Read more

Oh no, you have to stand and be alone with yourself for 30 seconds. Disaster!

Wasn’t there some Plan B alternative community created during the big Oppo-panic of November 2019, when the Deadspin staff got screwed or something like that? I distinctly remember posting something along the lines of “this will blow over and you’ll feel silly for making such a big deal out of it”. Read more

And your ZBook runs an older gen Quadro (1060 in disguise?) and processor (though more powerful, also more power hungry, triple the TDP, good luck while away from a power outlet for longer than two hours). And can not detach the screen and function as a fairly light and sizable “clipboard” style tablet. Read more

I’m sorry for these people sort of losing their jobs and sort of having to take a “pay-cut”. But only a little bit though. Most of these streamers sit at home behind a PC/console and a camera pointed at them and just do whatever they like until something gives them an audience. Now one platform is closing down, they Read more

I miss the “swipe-ability” from Windows 8(.1) touch interface. Switching over to the Metro Start Menu exclusively was a mistake but everything else about the touch interface was basically pure gold. Everything was thumbable so to speak. Read more

I do enjoy it but need more practice to use it to even part of the full potential. You can get some beautiful aerial video shots and pictures. The picture part is especially fun as it is basically looking for good composition from the air :).

Hey Rusty, I really appreciate the thought and all the effort into the FaH Oppo group, but I’d feel kinda bad as I didn’t really contribute much and postage on the sticker to Europe might be quite a bit more than the cost of the sticker :).

Quick question... does it only count base credits? I ran a work unit on the GPU last night which was supposed to be a ~90k credit value but I think it only added about 13k to my credits when finished. Read more

For the love of God, don’t use any video chat rooms... They are all guaranteed to be collecting data of you, no matter how protected or encrypted they say they are. If this is a huge issue for you, stay off the internet in general, wrap your phone in aluminium foil, and preferably fashion a hat out of it as well. Read more

I’ll try throwing my 9900K @ 5,0GHz all cores and OEM 5700XT in the mix if they are idling tomorrow. But that CPU is sucking in 200W at that overclock and the GPU is not far behind, haha. Read more

No problem, it’s a good album. There is another double CD album called Classical Trancelations which is the other way around, putting classical music into a trance track, also worth a listen if you like those kind of crossovers I guess :). Just force the kids to listen to it as well and teach them some culture, haha.

I always think to myself, just put it in the fields somewhere next to the highway, not on it. The reasoning here being that when you go fly as a pilot, you make a choice to put yourself at a certain amount of risk when you go flying and accept those risks. But in my opinion you have no right to put the drivers of the Read more
