The thing is that all the little bits of data they gather lets them put together a pretty damn specific profile of you. It might not be a 100% accurate profile, but you’d be amazed at what can be logically inferred from shopping habits, interests etc. Read more

There is no reason to ask for any permission. If the seat reclines, and you paid for your transport from point A to point B in said seat, there is no reason to ask permission to use that seat the way it is meant. Read more

But you know there is a chance this is going to happen, so it’s on you to book a seat that you would be comfortable in (extra legroom seat, emergency exit row etc). That, or avoid airlines with such shitty legroom. Read more
