As I understand it, there is no 90Hz screen, just some software trickery to make 60Hz seem smoother. Probably borrowed from the Bravia side of Sony. Quote from GSM Arena, usually a better source for smartphone news than Gizmodo: Read more

I’ve got an Xperia 5 as a fun thing next to my iPhone 11 Pro Max... the 21:9 screen is much more one-hand friendly and the clean Android version is surprisingly good. Only the cameras and one app critical for my job are holding me back from switching. If they improved the cameras and now allow RAW saving from their Read more

It is so worth it. No dealing with questionable sites or software for poor quality streams, no having to sit in front of your TV at the right time. Just watch it when you want and how you want. Read more

Can’t recommend car stuff to do. All I can recommend is to wander off the beaten path as much as possible and try the smaller places for food. I still miss all the different noodle dishes, my god... Read more

Might just be these pics, but that rear looks like it has a chin... That rear bumper part seems to stick out way too far for my taste. Not really a fan of the design overall either tbh.

Yeah, the fact that it was marked as Datsun at all made me guess US or AUS market, I’m not sure if these were sold as Datsun in the EU, my Nissan knowledge is close to negligable. I’d totally drive this example though, it just seemed interesting as hell with probably some stories attached to it.

I’m normally not that much into this era of cars, but this one just looked like it had a story to tell and it was damn clean as well (looking past the snow and salt of course).

With those inspection stickers, does the relevant authority leave the old one on after a new inspection? Or is that up to the owner? Because when I said “a bunch of stickers” I did mean a bunch, like three columns wide or so. Would be at least a solid 10-15 inspections minimum. I didn’t have time to check them out Read more

I agree with this. First two have soooo much going on front to back. Strange hip hunches, all the weird folds and angles up front. The third one has simply streamlined the design. It has the kind of unique features still without overdoing it.

If this is all they have to show at CES, one could say... They came too soon.

A measuring cup costs less than what, 5 bucks? I’m sure this “smart” technology could make some workflows a bit easier, but I’d imagine the overall cost in energy and resources to produce this and then run it is a bit pointless... Especially when compared to whatever extra water use results from not having the exact Read more

Haha, yeah, that was quite obvious. But I still enjoyed the driving and action if you can look past the continuity screw ups. That Giulia was just born for scenes like this.

To be fair though, in half of the cases you get nailed by a chopper gunner within like 2-4 seconds after spawning, often not even enough time to get out your launcher and get a lock. And when you do get a lock, the first one always misses because of course they gave the attack chopper flares otherwise how can the guy Read more

Yeah, but if Tesla is using one way of testing to get to that number and Porsche another, as the EPA allows multiple types of tests to get to the same number... It is not equal.
