I sat in one at an auto show and got the same impression. Also, I was mystified how such a large vehicle could feel so cramped inside. Head room and legroom were nonexistent.

2011 Raptor. It was generally slow and unexceptional. Based on the hype I was expecting it to be mind blowing. Full disclosure: I drove it on dry pavement not the baja for which it was intended, and after driving the faster Ecoboost F-150 of the same vintage.

The car didn’t fall in Montreal. The marshal slowed to pick up his radio and was run over by the forklift. I didn’t see the incident but was there and took a picture of the car being carried by the forklift just before.
