Parents who let their children play videogames should not themselves be uninformed about them. That's like letting your child play with firearms while knowing nothing about them yourself. Games not being as dangerous obviously, but still.

Summation is different than knowledge.

"If/when someone tries to make the argument that "Piracy hurts sales", the burden of proof is on them, and that was the situation that Grymnir was discussing."

Any other input on who you think is Videogames Best Superhero? Or is your Ebert like criticisms going no further than "No"?

In the 80's every guy I knew had a console. I don't know if you'd call each and every one of them gamers, but consoles certainly where widespread. Is steam always online. Well you need to be online to download your 16 gig game. How long is that gonna take. You need to

I played Zelda II before I played the original. So when I tried the original I hated it. I still fire up Zelda II from time to time and still greatly enjoy how hardcore a game it is.

Not to be a dick but how is using a mouse & keyboard all that different from a controller, experiencewise.

On some level microsoft definitely had a good conference. It's amazing that they could come out swinging and sony could still win.

taking the company out to parties promotes good corporate culture

Apparently, it's since been clarified that that is only in relation to online-play, and not the entire game, like with Xbox One.
