I still don't really understand what the plot of the game would be. The book is basically a "Ok, here's what happens to mankind" kind of thing, I don't think there's anything really playable in it.

You should, they were all good. They all (I think?) let you exit and go back to the present whenever you like.

I guess I'm the only person who really liked AC1. It was actually the first game I got for the PS3 that I actually liked. It's the reason I even bothered trying more games (I got a PS3 because at the time it was the best blu-ray player available).

The Clarke book?... what... what would the game be?...

I'd vote for hosting your own servers in your basement. That's what I do. I looked into moving to a web hosting company but just couldn't justify the extra cost to get all the features I have now.

You're absolutely correct about really ow bitrate MP3. Whatever youtube seems to be doing DOES destroy stuff most the time.

I'd honestly say that if you're using nano or pico, you're still doing it wrong.

I tend to switch between emacs/xemacs and vi. Small/quick fixes get vi, big things get emacs.

Huh. I took a friend out to Indian food once, and she hated it. Said everything tasted like dish soap. Now I wonder...

I don't like cilantro, but I don't like refuse to eat anything that has it on. I don't hate it, I don't love it, I just don't really like it. WHERE'S MY STUDY???

On second thought they look just fine from the safe distance I've decided to look from.

Ether way it needs some serious teeth whitening.

Just like real life.

This will be way fun in Uncharted 4.

My first indestructible camera was an Olympus. It actually still works. One of the main reasons I upgraded from it (and away from Olympus) was the proprietary xD card, which never made it past 2 gigs. I hope they moved to good ol' SD cards by now!

Solar power? Pfft. That's unreliable. There's no sun at night!

Vote: Smartphone.

She prefers grandma (:

I'm... not sure. 60-something for sure though (:
