I was convinced that would be the climax of the series. An arm wrestling match more epic than Over The Top and more gruesome than that arm wrestling match in David Cronenberg’s The Fly.

No arguments there. He does make bad movies. And at this point he’s made bad movies for longer than he’s made good movies. I just think his bad movies are more interesting and have more personality than the films of Colin Trevorrow.

Duel was an extremely effective thriller. Jaws wasn’t even supposed to be that big of a picture. It went long over schedule and way over budget.

Batman Forever was what most moviegoers in 1995 wanted out of a Batman movie.

Schumacher also directed Lost Boys and A Time to Kill which were big hits. Not to mention Falling Down, Flatliners, The Client, The Incredible Shrinking Woman.
