I don’t know, I like it well enough so far, and I’m one who is certainly interested in characters over plot, particularly sci-fi premise. Imdb lists 20 episodes—I think we’ve become too used to the 10 or so episodes of “prestige” TV. I’m hoping the character development happens over time, in concert with plot, much

The Sinner is on at 10 Pacific (and I assume Eastern), not 9. As an elderly (41 yo) person my exhausted by Thursday and can’t handle the extra hour.

Have you ever wanted to see the CliffsNotes version of a book get made into a TV show? Check out season 8 of Game of Thrones, now available on HBOgo!

Step-husband

Such a tedious question, made more tedious by internet interests promoting it as interesting. But ask it to a fabulous person and I’ll click on it. And he answers correctly with perfect practical correctness and the correct degree of interest. Ask Madeline Albright next!

The weird part is how they gave him a winky, check this out bitch slight personality. Bran is clearly a tedious robot now that he is the raven or whatever.

The previews for Abby look brutally bad. It seems that this Josh Malmuth character was a producer for New Girl. I’d much rather see a Winston-Nasim Pedrad cop spinoff than the first “outdoor sitcom”.

Through the back half of last season I was only begrudgingly watching episodes, but this one has me back in in full force. It didn’t change or ruin the plot and it was a lot of fun.

I don’t know what it was about this season, but even though I thought most of the episodes were good to excellent and Molly and Isa showed some growth It just felt like the prelude to a season to me. Maybe I just don’t want to wait a long time for more episodes, but I really feel like they were really just warming up

I’ve never remotely understood what anyone finds funny about Pete Davidson on SNL. And after his “I’ve replaced her birth control” “joke” I really can’t understand what he is still doing on the show. Is it some sort of fear of being sued for disability rights, given how he often references his mental and addiction

Well I want it to have 4-8 more episodes this season. It’s like we’re just getting started.

It’s not a recap if it doesn’t give away important plot twists.

Strong agree, especially in a show about criminal justice reform, a topic with a rapidly progressing dialogue that has seen a major leap in awareness from those who are not directly affected by the system in recent years.

This write-up gives me hope that I might like the series, however, the first episode did not give me much plot-wise or character-wise to hold on to.

Thank you! I couldn’t place the influencer and just kept coming up with time travel Elizabeth Banks. IMDB is not up on The Bold Type.

Yes! I hope they have Jane struggle with the hustle of freelancing for a while, as most writers these days have to do.

But besides New Girl, those are the only shows on Fox I watch. Well, Bob’s Burgers if it falls between premium cable Sunday night watches.

I like to think DC became the murder capital around this time mostly because of Elizabeth Jennings, and not the crackheads who were blamed for it at the time.

I agree—nobody to root against this season just nice, likeable people.
