Silly clickbait article. Politics aside, It’s a fun single-player game that once finished, just doesn’t have a huge draw to replay.

Yeah. While I fully condemn JKR I never subscribed to the notion that boycotting this game made for an effective form of protest. And I thought condemning people for playing it was a ridiculous line in the sand to draw to decide whether people supported trans rights or not. But I still didn't pick it up personally…

Dude, Baldur’s Gate 3 just came out, it’s highly likely NO game is seeing the kind of numbers it was seeing last month whether it’s brand new or six months old. BG3 is destroying all comers at the moment, and Hogwart’s was a narrative game that certainly shouldn’t have taken six months to complete.

Why would I still be playing it? I beat it after a few weeks and moved on. Is that so strange? What was the point of this article?

I think this article needs 6-7 more uses of “controversial”.....

Y’all need to let it go. It’s surprising to no one that a single player RPG with no content extending DLC has dropped off.

Imagine writing something like that about Resident Evil 4 (released a month later). With ~2,400 players in-game and complaining about constantly replaying the 6-7 hour campaing, shootouts that get stale after the seventh replay, and waiting for possible DLC.

That would be stupid as hell since it’s just a single player…

This article seems to just be trying to farm clicks, like hmmm I wonder why people arent playing a single player RPG with no DLC 6 months after release. 

The next single player steam game on the top selling list is Jedi Survivor at #5 which has 1492 ppl playing right now, nowhere near the 6800 number the article claims is so low...

Nobody played the video game that sold more copies than any other video game in perhaps the best year in video game history. Crazy to read such a sensible take on this site. All the issues Rivian, Lucid, Lordstown, etc. are facing is what Tesla somehow overcame. I thought it would be another Tucker story but here we are.
