I’ll have to agree with the “cesspool” remark. The Facebook integration just got worse and more cringy by the year. And those short-lived pre-Facebook days were pretty fine while they lasted.

Since 2008 (not including remakes or SSB) we’ve had:

49 Mario games (that are all the same thing)
28 Pokemon games (With about 4 more set to come out)
